About MockPrint

MockPrint is a free browser-based mockup generator built for Etsy sellers, print-on-demand shops and independent designers. It turns a finished design into realistic product listing images — T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, mugs, posters, canvas prints, framed wall art, stickers and cards — in seconds, without any design software.

What the tool does

You upload your own artwork (PNG, JPG or WebP), pick a product template, and adjust scale, position and rotation until the placement looks right. The preview is composited live in your browser, and the download renders a high-resolution JPG or PNG ready for product listings, shop pages, portfolios and client proposals.

Why browser-based

Every step — decoding your file, compositing the mockup and exporting the image — runs locally in your browser. Your design files are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. This keeps the tool fast, private and free: there is no account to create and no upload queue to wait for.

Our approach

MockPrint does not use generative AI. Templates are procedurally drawn product scenes, and the mockup is a faithful composite of your own artwork on those scenes — what you upload is exactly what appears on the product.

Standards and sources

MockPrint is built on open, verifiable standards rather than proprietary magic. The renderer implements the W3C HTML Canvas 2D Context specification, the same drawing model documented on MDN's Canvas API reference. Page metadata and structured data follow the schema.org vocabulary for WebApplication, Organization and FAQPage, and seller guidance draws on the Etsy Seller Handbook.

Citing the spec matters to us for one practical reason: because the Canvas model is standardized, your mockup preview and your downloaded file are computed by the exact rules described in that document — no black box, no lock-in.
